Promotions Committee Information

The Promotion Committee meets the first and third Wednesday of every month, 9 a.m., at the Downtown association office. The purpose of this committee is to develop a comprehensive promotional plan for the Downtown Association district, allocate budgeted financial resources to complete established promotional plans, plan and coordinate promotional events for the Downtown Association in conjunction with the contracted ad agencies, develop and publish a newsletter, a shopping guide and annual promotions calendar and organize fund raising events. Also, this committee oversees, organizes and implements a comprehensive Holiday program including maintenance of Santa's House, the Classic Carousel, and Holiday Parade.
