Visit Downtown SLO safely and help slow the spread of COVID-19

Our Downtown shops and services are taking all precautionary measures to help keep our downtown community and visitors safe and to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

While our downtown merchants are adhering to State/County/City requirements, visitors are also asked to adhere to local guidelines including wearing a mask (limited exceptions), maintaining 6 feet between others, washing your hands (public hand washing stations are located throughout the downtown area), and staying home if sick.

Thanks for doing your part to ensure we all remain safe.

Face Covering Ordinance

The State of California now requires the use of face coverings in indoor and outdoor settings (where physical distancing is not practical and with limited exceptions) anywhere outside of private homes, according to a new state directive tied to the State’s Executive Order.

For more information on the State’s order, guidance for face coverings, and for any additional questions on face coverings please visit the County's dedicated Face Covering page on  Please continue to take all preventative measures to slow the spread of COVID-19 in San Luis Obispo.  Your Actions Save Lives.
