Membership & Benefits
Downtown SLO members consist of businesses located in the Business Improvement Area (BIA), as well as voluntary members.
Our members are valuable and insightful community partners who advocate for an economically vibrant, exciting, inclusive, clean, and safe downtown San Luis Obispo.
- Businesses located within the Business Improvement Area (BIA) are automatic members (excluding banks, non-profits, and churches)
Voluntary Membership & Benefits »
- Certain businesses located within the Business Improvement Area (BIA) boundaries, including banks, non-profits, and churches, are exempt from tax certification and therefore are not automatic Downtown SLO members.
- We strongly encourage these businesses, as well as downtown residents, and businesses located outside of downtown to become voluntary members.
