Join Downtown SLO for the first of a new series of Sidewalk Sales! Grab a coffee and a bite to eat, stroll downtown San Luis Obispo’s tree-lined streets, and enjoy a fun shopping experience and amazing deals!
Downtown retailers will bring merchandise and sale racks out onto the sidewalk for a one-day-only special event.

Downtown Businesses: Sign-Up Now!
Registration Deadline: Monday, September 29, 2025, 11:59 PM
For this event, Downtown SLO will be taking out a permit on behalf of all participating downtown businesses within the Business Improvement Area (BIA) allowing temporary use of sidewalk space in front of their store, excluding the required 5 ft of clearance needed for ADA accessibility.
Businesses are strongly encouraged to plan a special sale or promotion and/or roll out a clothing rack or fun table display.
