A junk journal is a handmade book containing personal and recycled materials to store ideas and memories. Part scrapbooking, part
journaling, and a whole lot of fun, this workshop is sure to get you hooked on this popular craft, Junk Journaling. We will focus on some beginning techniques, starting with a cover design and then going into several page designs. Created using found, vintage and repurposed items, each participant will receive a 24 page blank journal (both paper and heavier cardstock) allowing for individual sections, bound with two large metal rings, so you can add / move the pages around. A metal stamped “What I Love” bookmark made by Melissa is included, plus a kit including lots of fun bits to inspire and use in your design. You’ll also have access to lots of different types of vintage papers to include dictionary pages, maps, vintage photos, magazine pages, sewing patterns, game pieces to use while you’re with us.
