This day will honor the 159th year of the annual historic celebration known as the second Independence Day, and SLO's 7th annual Juneteenth Celebration. We will celebrate our culture with song, dance, spoken word, food, and fun throughout the day. The event will include a resource fair with community organizations, retail vendors, and African American history on display in our Freedom Lounge. This year our focus will be on our rich culture through inventions, art, music, and more.
