Join us for Law Day to celebrate the role of law in our society and to cultivate a deeper understanding of the legal profession.
Judges will provide information on criminal, civil, family law, and mental health treatment court.
Local attorneys will answer general legal questions.
The Morro Bay High School mock trial team will present a mock trial demonstration.
The grand jury will provide information on their duties and role within the County.
Legal information and materials will be provided by non-profit legal service providers including California Rural Legal Assistance, San Luis Obispo Legal Assistance Foundation, San Luis Obispo Superior Court Legal Self-Help Center, Cal Poly's Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, Department of Child Support Services, District Attorney's Victim Witness, Lawyer Referral and Information Service, and more.
