Join us for our Opening Night celebration as we take over the Fremont Theater with food, mingling and special film GHOSTLIGHT.
We’re celebrating the kick off to our 30th Anniversary Festival by meeting our special guests, filmmakers and major contributors at this year’s Opening Night Reception with catered bites by Luna Red and wine from Ancient Peaks, in the pit of the Fremont Theater. With this year”s film centered around the preparation of a theatrical performance of Romeo and Juliet, we thought what better way to get to know each other than amongst the ambiance of the iconic story, photo ops with theatrical set pieces, live acoustic set from popular SLO County band, IMVA, and local wines, beer and appetizers to help us commence the start to a great week.

GHOSTLIGHT
Straight from Sundance, GHOSTLIGHT is the extraordinary and heartfelt film following a melancholic construction worker as he drifts away from his wife and daughter, only to discover solace and purpose within a local theater”s production of Romeo and Juliet. As the drama unfolds onstage, paralleling his own life, he and his family learn to confront their own personal loss. A poignant exploration of grief, GHOSTLIGHT is the quest for belonging and profoundly explores the impact of unexpected connections.
