Downtown SLO and Sunset Honda proudly present the 25th Anniversary Concerts in the Plaza Series, featuring The Kicks, sponsored by Frog & Peach Pub.

Concerts in the Plaza is a 8-week free summer concert series in Mission Plaza in beautiful Downtown San Luis Obispo.

Drinks available for purchase from Firestone Walker Brewing Co. | Chamisal Vineyards | Jean Marie Cidery | and food available for purchase from Libertine Brewing Company and Woodstock's Pizza.

Concerts attendees are encouraged to bring their own reusable cups to the event (no glass please!), as Downtown SLO honors the City of San Luis Obispo Government ordinance that prohibits single use cups, straws and plastic bottles on City property, including Mission Plaza.

Commemorative 25th Anniversary Concerts in the Plaza 16 oz pints and 10 oz wine cups will be available for purchase at the bar.

The Kicks formed in 2003 as a living room jam session between friends. As time went on, The Kicks found their sound by creating music that incorporated a progressive, modern, soul-driven groove while still maintaining a foundation in roots reggae.
The Kicks’s frontwoman Reese Galido brings soulful and heartfelt vocals, while the lead guitar and sax provide soaring solos and the rhythm section keeps it rock solid. 
The Kicks have had the honor of sharing the stage with such acts as Stephen Marley, Don Carlos, SOJA, Groundation, The English Beat, Katchafire, Tony Rebel, Dezarie, Queen Ifrica, 
Rootz Underground, Eek-a-Mouse, HR of Bad Brains, The Black Seeds, Katchafire and many more reggae giants.
