By popular demand! After February’s packed Art After Dark reception, the community is invited once again to see the Portraits and Perspectives Exhibit of photography by Renoda Campbell, curated by Courtney Haile. Part of the Belonging series, the portraits feature San Luis Obispo Black community members from all walks of life.

The front window display honors Maxine Lewis, the community activist who worked tirelessly until her death in 1988 to champion the rights of the unsheltered, the underfed, and the disadvantaged.

Join RACE Matters SLO County at Downtown SLO office, 1135 Chorro Street, Friday, March 6, from 6PM-9PM for community and connection.
