Concerts in the Plaza is celebrating 30 seasons of music and memories in 2026! Join us this Fourth of July weekend for a very special block party celebration.
Event Schedule
Five bands will perform live throughout the event, making this the largest Concerts in the Plaza event yet. With two full-size stages and staggered sets, live music will continue nonstop all afternoon and into the evening. Come and go throughout the day! Entry is free. Alcohol is not allowed to leave the premises.
Start at the Plaza stage just before the music kicks off for a special reading of the Declaration of Independence by SLO City Council members, and hear remarks from Mayor Erica A. Stewart before Moonshiner Collective takes the stage at 6:30 PM.

Where will the second stage go?
We're closing a portion of Broad Street behind Mission Plaza between Monterey & Palm Streets (the "dogleg"). This area will house vendors, a third bar, photo opportunities, and our Block Party Stage!

When will the street close?
The Broad Street dogleg will close on July 3, 2026 from 10:00 AM–9:00 PM. Public and pedestrian access through Mission Plaza and across the Warden Bridge, and on the streets will not be restricted. For safety reasons, vehicle access on Broad Street, Monterey Street, Mission Plaza and across the Warden Bridge will not be allowed.
Will there be vendors?
Yes! Vendors offering novelty services, information, and treats will be on Broad Street.
