Located in front of City Hall and the Downtown Transit Center, artist Jim Jacobson partnered with Will Carlton (glassblower) and Erick Wand (graphic designer) to create “The American Spirit,” which depicts a historical transportation-themed obelisk for the City of San Luis Obispo.
