DOWNTOWN SLO FARMERS’ MARKET CELEBRATES ITS 40TH ANNIVERSARY
A Block Party will be held at the Market on Thursday, July 6, 2023
San Luis Obispo, CA — The Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market invites the community to celebrate its 40th Anniversary with a special Block Party at the intersections of Higuera and Chorro Street and Higuera and Garden Street on Thursday, July 6, 2023, starting at 6 PM. This free, family-friendly event marks the commencement of the 40th year of the famous Downtown SLO Farmers' Market. It will coincide with the regularly scheduled market taking place from 6 to 9 PM.
Strike a pose at the 360° photo booth, learn about the Market's history, share your memories, engage with the community, score some one-of-a-kind freebies, and sing your heart out in an all-out 80s karaoke party.
80s Karaoke Party: 6–8 PM hosted by 93.3 KZOZ; sponsored by Kramer Events and SLO Sweets
The Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market started in 1983, so we’re going back in time! Showcase your vocals at the 80s karaoke party! Compete for a chance to win tickets to see the B-52s or Sammy Hagar live at the California Mid-State Fair and treats from SLO Sweets. Registration starts at 6 PM and is free — 80s costumes are encouraged!
360° Photo Booth: 6-8 PM
Gather your friends and family and take a photo at the 360° Photo Booth! Enjoy digital photos and videos to commemorate your time at the Market.
