For Domestic Violence Action Month (DVAM), Lumina Alliance will be hosting a private screening of the classic film, Dirty Dancing (1987) in celebration of its 35th anniversary. The film will be followed by a 45-minute discussion panel of local experts in the field of sexual and intimate partner violence and healthcare. Enjoy wine and appetizers as we dance into the past and explore themes of relationships, class, gender, sexuality, and abortion in this coming-of-age film.
