Hotel San Luis Obispo will present its 4th annual Rosé the SLO Way wine festival and fundraiser, a celebration of the Central Coast’s renowned Rosé wine.
The signature event offers attendees the opportunity to sip premier Rosés from boutique Central Coast wineries, connect with winemakers, and sample expertly crafted food pairings by Executive Chef Ryan Fancher and his team. Chef Fancher’s creations will be served from the hotel’s acclaimed Michelin-recognized modern steakhouse, Ox + Anchor, and its Cal-Italian eatery, Piadina. Guests will also enjoy cuisine from acclaimed guest chefs Dustin Valette of Sonoma Wine Country and San Luis Obispo’s own Brian Collins.
Rosé The SLO Way participating wineries include Biddle Ranch Vineyard, Cal Poly, Cass Winery, Center of Effort, Claiborne & Churchill Winery, Colori Wines, Costa De Oro Winery, Daou, Eberle Winery, El Lugar, Field Recordings, Hearst Ranch Winery, Austin Hope, La Lomita, Laetitia Vineyard & Winery, Malene, Margerum Wine Company, McPrice Myers, Paris Valley Road, Paul Lato Wines, Peacock Cellars, Shindig Cider, So Far Out, Tablas Creek Vineyard, Talley Vineyards, Thibido Winery and Tolosa. Participating purveyors include Morro Bay Oyster Co., Tsar Nicoulai Caviar and Sichuan Kitchen SLO. Sweet treats will be available from local favorites Breda and Harmony Valley Creamery.
Hosted by emcee Adam Monteil, the event will feature a mini marketplace of fabulous fashion from Avanti, Summerland Co., Infinity Metals SLO, Tails San Luis Obispo and Blinged Out Locks; live music from the Chromatic Cats; a puppy and kitten cuddle corner courtesy of Woods Humane Society; a Wine Wall; on-demand prose written by typewriter poet Devin Copeland Miller; and a Benefit Drawing with fantastic prizes. Guests are also encouraged to embrace the spirit of the event by wearing pink or spring-inspired attire for a chance to win "Best Dressed," as they toast the release of the season’s finest vintage Rosés.
Early release tickets priced at $120 until March 13 at www.rosethesloway.com. The price per ticket will be $150 from March 14 - April 13.
