Join us for an evening exploring Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness: The Chicano Central Coast Experience, an exhibition examining the history, contributions, and lived experiences of the Chicano community in San Luis Obispo County.

The exhibition reflects on how Chicano communities have shaped and contributed to the cultural, social, and civic fabric of the Central Coast.
Curated and installed by Mia Lawrence and Christopher Rourke, the exhibition invites attendees to reflect on history, identity, representation, and the evolving meaning of belonging and community in the United States.
Presented in partnership by the History Center San Luis Obispo County, Latino Outreach Council, Diversity Coalition, and the City of SLO.
