2025 SAN LUIS OBISPO CONCERTS IN THE PLAZA LINEUP ANNOUNCED
The 29th season will run from June 20–September 12, 2025
San Luis Obispo, CA — Downtown SLO, along with title sponsor Sunset Honda and partners at the City of San Luis Obispo, is proud to announce the lineup for the 2025 season of Concerts in the Plaza. This summer, the community is invited to gather every Friday for twelve weeks of free live music in San Luis Obispo’s Mission Plaza. Concerts in the Plaza is the largest free concert series on the Central Coast. This beloved community event features live local music, dancing, and drinks in the heart of downtown San Luis Obispo. All concerts are free to the public and family-friendly.
The lineup was officially announced to the public at a Lineup Reveal Party that took place on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Libertine Brewing Co. Community members and musicians gathered to be the first to see the unveiling of the performers for the 29th season of this popular community concert series.
DATES: Every Friday, June 20–September 12, 2025*
*No concert on July 4
TIMES: Opening Act: 5 PM; Main Act: 6–8 PM; After-Party at Libertine: 8:30 PM
The lineup for Libertine After-Parties will be released in the spring of 2025.

With so much local talent to choose from, the selection process was not easy, and Downtown SLO wants to thank all of the artists who took the time to apply.
Food and drink will be available, and guests are welcome to bring outside food; outside alcohol is not allowed. The bar will be serving beer from Firestone-Walker Brewing Company, cider from SLO Cider, and three wine options from popular downtown wine bar Region. Eats from Woodstock’s Pizza and Nick the Greek will be available.
All beverages are sold in reusable cups or aluminum cans. Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring their own non-glass reusable cups. 12oz souvenir cups will be available for purchase.
Free bike valet will be provided by Bike SLO County. Pets are not allowed at Concerts in the Plaza.

OTHER UPCOMING CONCERTS IN THE PLAZA EVENTS
“Battle of the Openers” | Friday, April 11, 2025, from 8–10 PM
Downtown SLO and Libertine Brewing Co. are excited to invite the community to the first-ever “Battle of the Openers” on Friday, April 11, 2025. The remaining Opening Act of the season will be determined and voted on by the audience at this friendly competition! Four to five soloists and duos will perform a fifteen-minute set for the audience and judges, “Battle of the Bands”-style. Votes will be cast via mobile device and the winner will be announced at the end of the night! This is a 21+ event.
Concerts in the Plaza After-Parties | Every Friday, June 20–September 12, 2025, at 8:30 PM
Don’t let the music stop when Concerts in the Plaza ends! Libertine Brewing Co. is booking twelve artists to perform at their venue (1234 Broad Street) every Friday evening after the concerts in Mission Plaza end. The lineup of after-party performers will be released in the spring. After-parties will be 21+ events.
ABOUT CONCERTS IN THE PLAZA
